A great opportunity has come forth for all JEE (Main) aspirants. As per the new guidelines by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) which conducts the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) (Main) exams, the number of attempts has been increased from two to three. The JEE (Main) 2016 will be conducted on April 3, 2016 (Offline) and April 9 and 10, 2016 (Online).
The states of Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Odisha and Nagaland have joined the JEE (Main) system. The age limit for admission to institutions in these states which were earlier admitting candidates based on their state level examinations, will be as per their past practice only. The number of attempts in such cases will also remain same as per their past practice. This will however be obviously not applicable for admission to IITs/NITs/IIITs/CFTIs.
