JEE Main 2018: Admit Cards released by CBSE

JEE MAIN 2018The Central Board of Secondary Education has released the admit cards for JEE Main 2018. JEE or Joint Entrance Examination is the common exam conducted by the education board for admission into premier engineering colleges in India. JEE Main 2018 is set to be conducted on Sunday, 8th April for offline mode, while the computer based exam will be held on the 15th and 16th of April 2018.

Applicants for JEE Main 2018 can download their admit cards, centre and the schedule for the exam from the official JEE Main website, which is jeemain.nic.in.

Here’s how you can Download the JEE Main 2018 Admit Card

1. Visit the official website – https://jeemain.nic.in
2. Click on ‘Download Admit Card of JEE (Main) – 2018 (Server 1)’ or ‘Download Admit Card of JEE (Main) – 2018 (Server 2)’ given at the end of the page
3. Enter your Application Number, Password, Security Pin and Login
4. Download your Admit Card and take a printout for future reference


Important things to Remember:

1. Candidates must reach at least 2½ hours before the time of exam as given on the Admit Card to  make sure all security-related formalities can be carried out easily.
2. Exam Hall gates open at 7 AM for Paper 1, booklets will be distributed at 9.20 AM.
3. The paper will be conducted from 9.30 to 12.30 PM
4. Paper 2 for B-Arch and B.Planning will be conducted from 2 to 5 PM, for which the gates open at 12.45 PM.

 

This year, IITs announced that the JEE Advanced exam will be conducted entirely online. IIT-Kanpur is scheduled to hold a mock test for the JEE aspirants between May 1 to May 5 to get students comfortable with the concept of the online-only entrance exam. CBSE, additionally, announced that computer labs in various CBSE schools are open for JEE aspirants to appear for the mock exam online.
