2 types of cancer
Cancer is the uncontrolled growth of cells in the body. The two broad types of cancer are benign cancer or tumour and malignant cancer or tumor. When the growth of cancerous cells is localised and does not spread to other parts of body, it is called benign tumour. When the cancer cells invade and damage tissues and organs near the tumour and spread throughout the body, it is called as malignant tumour.
