blood group AB is called universal recepient .Why?

As we know, antigens (A,B or AB) are present on the surface of the RBC's  and blood plasma contain  antibodies (Anti A&B) which can react with the antigen of other blood types. In case of AB blood group, both A & B antigen are present on the surface of RBC's but no antibody is present in plasma to react with other blood group antigens. As a result, there is no scope for agglutination or clumping to take place. That's why AB blood group is known as universal recepient.
