distinguish beetwen the high resistance and the low resistance

High resistance:- A substance has a high resistance when it does not readily allow the flow of an electric current throught it. Most of the bad conductors of electricity or non-metals have a high resistance. Substances with a high resistance are known as insulatos and they are used to cover an eletrical aplliance so that the user does not get an electric shock. e.g.:- Wood, rubber, glass, plastic etc. are substances which have a high resistance.

Low resistance:- A substance has a low resistance when it readily allows the flow of an electric current through it. Most of the good conductors of electricity or metals have a low resistance. They are used as wires of electrical aplliances. e.g.:- Copper, silver, platinum, etc. are substances which have a low resistance.
