dividend = divisor . quotient + remainder

what is this?

this is nothing but the division algorithm!

follow the steps given below -

dividend = divisor . quotient + remainder

p( x ) = g( x ) . q( x ) + r( x )

where,

p( x ) = dividend

g( x ) = divisor

q( x ) = quotient

r( x ) = remainder

so,u see... :-)

if we add divisor multiply quo.and add remainder with them then our dividend comes out

 That is the division Algorithm

Being Studied 4m 6th classsss

it is the Euclid's division Algorithm that is used to find the HCF and LCM of different given numbers or used in a word problem.

p(x) = g(x) × q(x) + r(x)

this formula is mainly used to find the HCF and LCM of different given numbers

(read the lessons in the chapter-real numbers for better understanding)
