Yes, lack of access to proper sanitation facilities indeed affect the lives of the people adversely. Not only do they have to seek other alternatives, but they are also at the risk of various faecal-oral diseases like Cholera, Typhoid, Diarrhoea etc, and also respiratory and eye-skin related disorders and infections. Lack of such facilties also lead, many a times, to untimely deaths of infants and adults.
