explain:

1 wanted wear

2 though for the passing there had worn them about the same

3 i shall be telling this with a sigh

4 that has made all the difference

1. The grass on the road that the poet decides to take was still afresh and the road seemed less worn out. This implies that not many people had walked on it.

2. The passing of people through that road has worn both the roads equally.

3. He would be talking about the fact that he had chosen one road over the other with a sigh. This suggests that the decision was possibly more of regret than satisfaction.

4. The fact that he chooses the road that is not generally taken up by travellers shall make all the difference in the world.
