Circulation links respiration and nutrition. Through nutrition, nutrients are taken in by body which are absorbed into blood stream. Through respiration, exchange of gases takes place in blood. Both nutrients and gases are transported to cells and tissues of the body through blood by the process of circulation.

The link between the three is that during respiration, gaseous exchange takes place. Oxygen as well burns food in order for the cells to receive nutrition. This whole process takes place because there is blood circulation all over your body.
