The secret annex operated under strict rules, firstly, listening to forbidden forecasts was not allowed except to listen to German news bulletins. Rest hours were from 10 PM to 7:30 AM and extended to 10:15 AM on Sundays. Owing to circumstances, residents were required to observe rest hours during daytime when instructed to do so.
