hi,

my brother asked me today while seeing this presentation that a tree is living  but it does not give out waste so how it is living?

Dear Student,

Plants also given out waste products although not in the similar way as we humans or animals do.

The oxygen expelled out by the plants during the process of photosynthesis is a type of excretion. The water droplets that you might have seen on the surface of the leaves is another type of excretion done by the plants. I am sure you might have seen something liquid and sticky when you cut leaves of pluck flowers of some plants. So, this is also a way of excretion followed by plants.

Hope now you can tell your brother about the type of excretion that takes place in plants.
