How markus brutus convenced the other to listen his speach?

Markus Brutus told the citizens to listen to his speech and be patient till the last. He told them to hear him out for his cause and believe him for he was an honourable man. He also convinced the people that he loved Caesar very much, but he loved Rome more than that. He was a good orator and so everyone listened to him patiently.
