Properties of division :

1 ) Divisive Identity property of division : Any number divided by 1 will stay the same.

Examples:  $\frac{13}{1}$ =  13 Or $\frac{213}{1}$ =  213  

2 ) Zero property of division : The zero property of division have two rules.

Rule 1 :   If you divide zero by any number the answer will be zero.

Example : $\frac{0}{234}$ =   0  Or $\frac{0}{12213123}$ = 0

Rule 2 : If any number is divide be zero , then the problem cannot be solve.

Example : $\frac{234}{0}$ =   Not defined   Or $\frac{12213123}{0}$ = Not defined

We can understand steps of division by taking an example :

Divide 4418 by 12 :



So,
