I have gotta write an summary on a book named Mrs McGintys Dead
by Agatha Christie
I have read the book but I am just confused as to how and what
should I write and how should I start it { i mean by like writing
the Characters first then the plot intro or first the plot intro
and then the characters or by writing the characters at the end ?

Introduction:

Start by giving the title of the
story/novel, the author's name, the type or genre of the literature
and a very short description of the setting or background in which
the story/novel is set

In brief, introduce the characters
and their relation to each other

In one or two lines explain the
main concept or the major theme which is dealt with in the
story/novel

Body Paragraph:

The number of paragraphs you would
want to include in your summary would vary according to the length
of your story/novel

Precisely, describe all the events
and actions in the story/novel in your own simple words

Make sure your ideas and sequence
of occurrence of events are correct

Finally, open the climax of the
story This is the moment of suspense and thus, use interesting
vocabulary and write with a lot of vigour

Conclusion:

State the resolution of the
story

Show your understanding and put
forth your personal opinion of the happenings of the
story/novel
