Total observation = 7 + 5 + 8 = 20.
Red = 7.
Green = 5.
Purple = 8.
P ( Purple ) = 8 / 20 = 4 / 10 = 2 / 5 or 0.4.
If 1 green bottle is put it the bottle then total observation will be 21.
P ( Purple ) = 8 / 21.
