is copy of DNA form identical to original cell? if yes/no how it is benificialto the species?

During DNA copying or DNA replication the DNA is not completely identical to original or parental cell DNA. DNA molecule after copying consists of two strands one identical to parental DNA and other is different from the parent cell DNA. Yes this is beneficial as it leads to variations. Variations leads to the formation of organisms with beneficial traits.
