Is there a difference between currency paper and paper of our notebooks?
- Normal paper is made from the cellulose found in trees. Example: Newspaper, notebook paper, etc.
- Currency paper is made from cotton and linen fibers. It is known as rag paper or bank notes.
- Currency paper is thin compared to normal paper.
- Currency paper is more resilient, resists wear and tear.
- The average life of a banknote is approximately two years which is comparatively lesser than normal paper.
