Name the first woman chief justice of india?

India is yet to have a women Supreme Court Chief Justice. Although first woman judge of Supreme Court was Justice M. Fathima Beevi (6th October 1989 to 29th April 1992).

 Justice Leila Seth was the first woman judge of the Delhi High Court and the first woman to become the Chief Justice of a State High Court in India...

M. Fathima Beevi is a former former judge of the Supreme Court of India. Appointed to the tribunal in 1989, she became the first female judge to be a part of the Supreme court of India, and the first Muslim woman to be appointed to any of the higher judiciaries in country. On her retirement from the court, she served as a member of the National Human Rights Commission and later as the Governor of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu from 1997 to 2001.
