Please give me a 2 minutes speech on gender prejudice.
A prejudice is an unfavourable opinion created about something that is not bases on any reason or experience.opinion, In India gender prejudice have developed since age-old times where men were considered as superior to women physically and mentally.It has become a prejudice that women are meant for house-hold activities and men will do all outside activities and are the bread earner.
Prejudices are harmful because they ignore the fact that each individual be it a man or a woman is capable in his or her own way and have their respective talents and capabilities.
Some examples of gender based prejudices include:
1.Rebuking males for engaging in activities that are meant for women such as playing with dolls, crying. doing household activities etc.
2. Rebuking females for engaging in activities that are meant for males such as playing cricket, hockey or football, riding a motorcycle etc.
