The tropic of cancer runs almost halfway through india. What does it imply?

it implies in deviding the country into 2halves and also showing us the difference of climate between the 2 haves and only on this basis u call the southern part of india as sub tropical region and nothern part as tropical region.

Tropic, is the most northerly circle of latitude.Tropic of Cancer passes through the middle of India, thus making the southern half of India in the Torrid Zone and the northern half in the Temperature Zone, which is responsible of different climate due to wind patterns, etc.

I'd divides the country in two two parts. The southern one being waterlocked from all sides except one is know as subtropical while the north side being landlocked is known as tropical

The presence of Tropic of Cancer divides the country into two regions : tropical region (south India) and sub tropical region (north India).Due to this the day night difference is hardly felt in south india while it is much more in north india. Also, this is responsible for the varied climate in the country. In north india there are so many seasons which occur after a fixed interval of time while in south india the climate remains constant while year.
