 while touring through italy, an encounter with two young orphaned boys, namely, Nicola and Jacopo is a lesson im powers of love, faith and trust. the two boys, nicola, the elder of two in thirteen while jacopo is a year younger. their mother had already left for her heavenly abode. the war. the war took away their father. the responsibility of looking their ailing sister, lucia has fallen upon the two. and, lucia who suffers frm tuberculosis of the spine is being well looked aftr by her 2 brothers.

the 2 toil hard, taking up all kind of odd jobs like selling fruit, shinning shoes, distributing newspapers, working till late hrs the 2 are able 2 pay the hospital bills,

their life is a lesson in selfness love,preserverance and firm determination. their tireless efforts convey a very important msg- love, faith nd trust are the virtues on which survives the mankind. they empower a human being to flight against all odds and come out a winner.
