Unequal distribution of income, land and other resources has been one of the major reasons of poverty. The wealth is concentrated mainly in the hands of the rich. The poor are deprived of wealth as most of the profit goes into the hands of the rich.A large proportion of increased income has been pocketed by a few rich.
Moreover, the lower castes like the dalits are deprived of education, land and other social resources.Hence, their standard of living is also low.

One of the most striking examples of the unequal distribution of resources on the planet is the existence of chronic hunger in some parts of the world. Especially for children, hunger can be deadly or have grave consequences. As such, one of the millennium development goals is to reduce severe and moderate malnutrition by half among children that are younger than five years old.

Have a good day..!!!!!
