What can be the effect of temperature and density of liquid on the rate of diffusion?

Hi Tanuj,

Diffusion involves movement of molecules from one place to another. Diffusion is directly proportional to temperature as it increases the kinetic energy of the molecules and inversely proportional to density of the substance. On increasing the temperature, the diffusion increases and on increasing the density of substance, the diffusion decreases and vice versa.

Hope it helps.
Cheers!
