What is Adjusted Frequency distribution?

We use adjust frequency distribution to draw histogram of the class intervals of different width. In this case the frequency of the class intervals are adjusted in order to make the frequencies of the each class intervals and the area of the corresponding bar representing the histogram of class intervals in equal proportion. To know how this concept is used,you may refer to example 7 given in page 271 of your NCERT text book.
