Dengue is a viral infection caused by dengue virus.

Malaria is caused by the parasite named plasmodium.

It is transmitted by Aedes mosquito. 

It spread through anopheles mosquito.

Dengue starts with sudden onset of fever that last for long duration. This fever can go up to 39.5 to 41.4°C (103.1 to 106.52°F). The symptoms include headache, muscle pain, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, pain in eyes and rashes on upper and lower limbs.

In malaria the fever is of shorter duration. The symptoms include chills, anemia, joint pain, vomiting, convulsions and sweating. Malaria typically occurs in three stages namely, cold stage, hot stage and sweating stage.

Malaria is detected through microscopic detection.

Dengue is detected through antigen antibody tests.

There is no specific treatment for dengue.

Anti-malarial drugs are available for malaria treatment.

Symptoms occur after 4-5 days.

Symptoms occur after 10 -15 days.

Dengue is a disease . Which spread faster . Please close the bucket when water is there. Because the aedes mosquito keeps its egg on the opened bucket . The natural medicine for dengue is papaya leaf.i didnot know malaria. Sorry
