a. The concept of social exclusion is used in reference to the most vulnerable social groups who have been victims of discrimination and injustice.  Such a 
group may be cut off from availing the opportunities and benefits available to the so called majority groups.
b.  It is the marginalised  who are cut off from the society and is kept away from their basic rights, and are deprived of all the benefits.
 c. Social exclusion thus, is a blow to their dignity and very existence.
 d. We can give example of a caste system which is so well entrenched in the Indian society and  where the most vulnerable social groups are the SC's have been victims of discrimination and injustice
e.  They lack educational and economic opportunity to develop themselves to the fullest.

Social exclusion is a process through which individuals or groups are excluded from facilities, benefits and opportunities that others enjoy. Poor people have to live only in poor surrounding with other people and are excluded from enjoying social equality of better-off people in better surroundings.Social exclusion can also lead to the lower communities having very low income. Example: The working of the caste system in India in which people belonging to certain caste are excluded from equal opportunities.
