Sound Energy - It is the energy possessed by sound waves travelling through a medium as a longitudinal disturbance and when hitting our hear give us a sensation of hearing.

Light Energy - It is the energy possessed by light waves travelling through space (or any medium) as transverse waves without disturbing the medium itself. It gives us a sensation of sight.

Heat Energy - It is the energy possessed by the body on account of its temperature and manifested as the random molecular movements. Heat Energy provides us the sensation of hot or cold.

Chemical Energy - It is the energy possessed by a substance that can be partly released by its involvement in a chemical reaction.

Electrical Energy - It is the energy that is obtained from the combination of electric current and electrical potential that is delivered by an electrical circuit.

Magnetic Energy - It is the energy possessed by a magnetic body on account of it possessing a magnetic field around it.

Nuclear Energy - It  is the energy released by combining of nuclei of atoms or by decay of an unstable radioactive nucleus during a nuclear reaction i.e. during fusion or a fission.
