Polynomial is a expression of finite length constructed from variables and constant.

"Poly" means many and "nomial" - meaning terms.

A polynomial can have constant , variable and exponents but never division by variable.

An expression of the form of

$a_{0} + a_{1} x + a_{2} x^{2} + a_{3} x^{3} + ................... + a_{n} x^{n}$ is a polynomial of degree n.

where $a_{0}, a_{1}, a_{2}, .............., a_{n}$ are constants.
