Bauxite's chemical formula can vary a bit because it is an ore containing multiple compounds, not one exact compound. Generally, bauxite is a mix of iron and aluminum with oxides and/or hydroxides. Formulas for the minerals included may include Al(OH)3 or AlO(OH), for instance.
