To be eligible to become an IPS officer,one must be possesing a degree form Indian univsity or equivalent qualification.Those in the final year of a degree course can also appear in the preliminary examination taken y year by the UPSC.

....well...i think the qualification means....after completing studies which means after colledge after 12th u must study for the ias exam for 3 or 4 years....and then give the tst...i think there must b some qualification but may b after colledge we can study for ias....i just think so.....well i tell even iam having the aim of ias...well if want to become an ias then all the best study hard and work hard may success come to u.
