Who was Jacopo and Nicola?

Jacopo and Nicola were brothers who lived in Venice. they had a sister who was suffering from the tuberculosis of the spine. they did not have anyone to call as their family, their mother died and their father followed soon after in the war. after their role in the war was over they came to find their sister very sick. their house was destroyed in the war. due to this they hated the Germans . but they did not loose hope, brave and determined Nicola went out to earn on his own and support his family. they do any work they get without hesitation , example: selling fruits, polishing shoes, showing around the place to the foreigners, etc.
