Why did the poet choose the second path of forest in which he travelled and not the other? WAS the poet satisfied with his decisions?

The poet was facing a problem in choosing which path to follow. He was in a dilemma on whether to walk on the path which had already been tread upon by many people or to take the road which is undiscovered and untouched. Therefore he took the road less travelled by people. He choose the road which was a bit risky and promised him adventures. He loved facing challenges.

The poet was completely happy and satisfied with his decision of treading on the road that has never been travelled by. He wants to know the unknown and discover beyond the already known horizon.
