supreme court is called the guardian of the constitution becoz it is the highest court of appeal and once the decisions are taken in supreme cort , no other cort has the right tochange or rectify those decisions and only the constitution has the power to decline or caancel the decisions if they feel that decisions are not correct and need to be rectified

judiciary is the guardian of constitution. the constitution is a set of principles for the country which cannot be changed to our will. judiciary helps in providing justice to all. it helps the people resolve disputes , it strikes down some laws which it feels are a violation of the fundamental rights of the people and everyone in our country has access to the court. since the laws made by the constitution are related to the work that the judiciary does, it is known as the guardian of constitution.

The primary duty of the Supreme Court is to ascertain whether the laws are executed and obeyed properly and to see to it that no person is deprived of justice in any court of law. Thats why the  supreme court called the guardian of the constitution.

The Supreme Court is called the guardian of Constitution because it is the highest court of appeal in India. Once the decision been taken, no other court can change or decline the decision of Supreme Court. Only Constitution has power to change or decline the decision of Supreme Court.
