why we are not using laboratory thermometer to measure the body temperature ?

Laboratory thermometers are more sensitive to temperature change. Hence they instantly rises and drops on increase and decrease in temperature respectively. To measure the temperature of body, we need a thermometer which can resist sudden temperature drops. When the thermometer is taken out of the mouth, there should not be a drop in temperature. If we employ laboratory thermometer, it will give wrong reading of the temperature. The clinical thermometer comes with the kink which solves this problem of sudden drop in temperature.
