What is the first thing that comes to your mind when you hear the word ‘Italy’? If all you can think about is delicious, freshly baked pizzas, creamy and cheesy lasagnas, garnished liberally with olive oil and spices, stylishly designed fast cars that go at thrilling speeds, picturesque and romantic locales, beautiful art and sculpture dotting the cities, the famous gondolas of Venice, elegantly dressed men and women who speak in equally charming accents ……. then surely the Del Monte Quest’Italia Quiz Contest is something that you would not like to miss!
We at Meritnation proudly announce our exclusive online partnership with Del Monte Quest’Italia wherein we provide you the platform to showcase your knowledge and win the coveted quiz contest as ‘Team Meritnation’.
Del Monte Quest’Italia Quiz Contest 2012 is all about Italy and its culture – its people, its art, its cuisine, dances, economy etc. Quizcraft, the parent company conducting Quest’Italia has been hosting this premium inter-school nationwide quiz contest for the past two years. This year it has tied up with Meritnation to get an online forum and thus become much more accessible to school children all over India.
To participate, register or login on meritnation, and click on ‘Quest’Italia’ under ‘Resources’ in the top navigation.
Register for the online quiz on the Quest’Italia page and get set to begin taking the online quiz on the 30th of Septempber, 2012. There are three time slots for taking the quiz and you may register for any one depending on your convenience. The time limit for the quiz is 15 minutes. The winners will be adjudged on the basis of the accuracy of their responses and the time taken to complete quiz. Winners of the online quiz will get a direct entry into the Regional Finals which are scheduled to be held across 8 cities over October & November.
One team comprising 2 participants in each of the city finals is reserved for students entering the contest through the Online Quiz at Meritnation.
The winners from the 8 city rounds will meet each other in the National Finals. The National Final will be held in Delhi, immediately after the Delhi City Round.
