I am a bit confused..
For alkyl groups it is said that 2H atoms= Primary , 1H atom=Secondary , No H atom=Tertiary.
But for Ethyl i.e. CH3-CH2- as per I have mentioned above CH2 will be primary..
Then what will be CH3?
I'm wrong I guess, please help experts!
Also related..
It is said 'ISO' is always Primary. But 'ISOPROPYL' is secondary..
How??
Please explain!
