eural formula for square based pyramid and cylinder?
How to find faces, vertices, edges etc of the shape?
Dice are cubes with dots on each face. Opposite faces of a die always have a total of seven dots on them.
Here are two nets to make dice (cubes); the numbers inserted in each square indicate the number of dots in that box.
Insert suitable numbers in the blanks, remembering that the number on the opposite faces should total to 7.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN 3D AND 2D DIMENSIONAL SHAPES
A bulb is kept burning just right above the following solids. Name the shape of the shadows obtained in each case. Attempt to give a rough sketch of the shadow. (You may try to experiment first and then answer these questions).
Identify the nets which can be used to make cubes (cut out copies of the nets and try it):
do the dots which are present on the isometric sheet equal(have sam length between them)!.is it easy to draw an isometric sheet.
HOW TO DRAW AN OBLIQUE SKECTH OF THE LETTER L
Hi,
is it nesseccary that when a solid is cut(cross-section),it should form the same shape.if it is,then why is it different in the cross section of a cylinder?!!!when it is cut vertically it's plane face obtained is a rectangle, and when it is cut horizontally it's plane face obtained is a circle.
A cube is taken and painted with yellow, blue and green colours on opposite faces. It is now cut into 64 smaller cubes of equal size. how maany cubes do not have any colour on them:
1) 64 2)27 3)8 4)1
Solution given:
There are 8 cubes which donot have any colour on them.
This question was asked in the model test paper (olympiad) test paper no.2 qno.13.
Please elaborate the solution .

1) Sides of equal length, 8 vertices, 6 faces and 12 edges.
2) Unequal sides, 8 vertices, 6 faces and 12 edges.
3) 4 vertices, 6 edges and four faces.
4) 5 faces, 6 vertices and 9 edges.
