1. Differentiate between shadow and light.
2.Differentiate between Penumbra and Umbra .
3.Differentiate between solar eclipse and Lunar eclipse.
Difference between light and shadow is: Light makes the world visible to us. Shadow is something that we observe whenever light faces an obstacle.
Umbra and penumbra are two different parts of shadow of an object. Umbra is the darker part of the shadow (light is completely obstructed). Penumbra is the less dark part of the shadow (light is partially obstructed). Umbra is the part of the shadow which is exactly behind the obstacle producing the shadow. Penumbra is the part of the shadow on the outer side of the obstacle.
