1. Do you think Lencho’s blind faith in God was justified Would you write a letter to God and be disappointed if God did not respond to your prayers Discuss with references to the story.
Dear student,
Lencho had immense faith in God: he sent a letter to God with the belief that God would send him the hundred pesos he had asked for to make up for the loss of his crops. But, when he received seventy pesos he was upset. He had no faith in humans and thought the post office employees had stolen thirty pesos of the money that God had sent for his help. Once again, he wrote a letter to God to complaint about this issue. This shows his lack of belief in the goodness of human beings. For this reason, I would not write a letter to God. Instead, I would first try and solve my own problem and then seek help from a friend. In my opinion, human beings are personifications of what God stands for.
Regards
