Given: Area of two similar triangles be 81 cm2 and 49
cm2

Altitude of first triangle = 6 3 cm

Let the altitude of second triangle = x cm

As we know that,

when two triangles are similar the ratio of their area is equal to
the ratio of square of their corresponding altitude

Hence, the length of altitude of triangle 2 = x cm = 4 9
cm
