1)The cruracerebri bring the fibres of the cerebral cortex from the different parts of the brain and fibres from the cerebellum and pass them to the spinal cord .They form the relay centre.
2)The motor fibres running from the cerebellum to the spinal cord cross over each other at the junction of pons and medulla.
MY QUESTION IS , SPINAL CORD HAS 31 SEGMENTS WITH A PAIR OF NERVES ARISING FROM EACH SEGMENT. THEN HOW DO THESE NERVES PASS THROUGH THE SPINAL CORD ? AND ARE THEY MOTOR NERVES OR SENSORY NERVES?

Spinal cord is the bunch of nerves running through vertebral column.

The given statements does not mean the nerves fibres from the different parts of the brain and cerebellum pass through the spinal cord. They mean that the motor nerve fibres coming from cerebral cortex and cerebellum reach to the medulla and pons where from these fibres connect or pass to the spinal cord.

Thus, we can say that motor nerves from brain connect with the spinal cord at the junction of medulla and pons.

The nerves coming from brain are called motor nerves.
