1.Transpiration helps to cool the plant and  also creates a suction pull which helps to pull the water to greater heights in tall trees.

uses of transpiration:

1)by the heat of the plant the excess water turns into gas.thus the heat is also lost during the transpiration.

2)the turning into gas state also forms a powerful energy.So,the force brings up water when the gas is formed.
