Conidia is a spore produced asexually by various fungi at the tip of a specialized hypha.

Isogamous Fusion:These gametes can be flagellated and similar in size (as in Chlamydomonas) or non-flagellated (non-motile) but similar in size (as in Spirogyra).

Anisogamous Fusion:Fusion of two gametes dissimilar in size. Example: Chlamydomonas.

Oogamous Fusion: Fusion between one large, non-motile female gamete and a smaller, motile male gamete. Example: Volvox, Fucus.
