2 differences and similarities between avogardo law and gay lussacs law????

Gay Lussac's Law:
Under similar conditions of temperature and pressure, whenever gases react together, the volumes of the reacting gases as well products (if gases) bear a simple whole number ratio.
For example,
1 volume of hydrogen gas react with 1 volume of chlorine gas to give 2 volumes of hydro chloride. Thus, the volume ratio of hydrogen, chlorine and hydrochloride is 1 : 1 : 2. This is simple whole number ratio.

Avagadro's law states that,
at a given temperature and pressure, the volume of a gas is directly proportional to the amount of gas.
Mathematically,
∝ nā€‹
where n is amount of substance in moles.
All gases containing equal amount of substance occupy same volume at the same temperature and pressure. This means that one mole of each gas at STP will have same value. This is known as molar volume Vmā€‹.

Differences:
1) Gay Lussac's law is applicable when there is reaction between 2 gases, while for Avogadro's law application reaction between the gases is not necessary.
2) gay Lussac's law talks about the whole number ratio of reacting gases while Avogadro's law talks about amount of gas.

Similarity-
Both laws are applicable to only gases.
