Dear student,
Please find below the solution to the asked query

6. a.  Improvement in our lifestyle has resulted in greater amounts of waste generation. This can be justified by the fact that we use more of disposable items like plastic (polythene), paper plates etc. Also, plastics and other such non-biodegradable items are incorporated as packaging material. One way of reducing non-biodegradable waste production is- reuse and recycling of plastic items like polythene bags, containers etc.

b. The highest concentration of non-biodegradable chemicals will be found in the hawk as it occupies the highest trophic level.
The phenomenon is known as biomagnification. It  is the increase in the concentration of a substance with the increase in the trophic level.
