23) Mention any four activities regulated by oestrogen hormone.

Estrogen, or oestrogen is a female sex hormone responsible for the development and regulation of the female reproductive system. Activities regulated are:
1. It plays a role in the development of female secondary sexual characteristics, such as breasts, wider hips, pubic hair and armpit hair. 
2. It also helps regulate the menstrual cycle, controlling the growth of the uterine lining during the first part of the cycle. 
3. Along with vitamin D it plays a role in bone formation.
4. It also plays a role in blood clotting, maintaining the strength and thickness of the vaginal wall.
