240 students reside in a hostel.Out of which 50%go for yoga classes early in the morning, 25%have joined the gym club and 15% of them go for the morning walk.rest of the students have joined the laughing club.

A)what is the probability of students who have joined the laughing club?

B)what is the probability of students who have joined any class or club?

C)which value is depicted by students?

50% of 240 = 120 ; so 120 students go for yoga.

25% of 240 = 60 ; so 60 students go for gym

15% of 240 = 36 ; so 36 students go for morning walk

no. of students joined laughing club = 240 - (120+60+36)

=240-216

=24 ; so 24 students go for laughing club.

now coming on the questions you need to answer:

A) students joined laughing club = 24

total students = 240

P(student for laughing club) =  students joined laughing club / total students

=24/240

1/10 or 0.1

B)students joined any class or club =

120 (students go for yoga) +  60 (students go for gym )+ 24 (students go for laughing club) [note that morning walk is not consider as any class or club so it will not be added]

= 204

total students = 240

P(student who have joined club or class) =  students joined any class or club / total students

= 204/240

=0.85

C) i do not know what to write in this, sorry for this but you can take help from the above answers given.

A) No. of students who joined laughing club = 10% of 240.

   P(students who joined laughing club = 24/240 = 1/10 = 0.1

B)No. of students who have joined any class or club = 85% of 240

   P(students who have joined any class or club) = 85 x 240/ 100 x 240  = 0.85

C) Proper time utilisation.
