• Continuous and Compehensice Evaluation (CCE) is a new system introduced by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to evaluate every aspect of a child going to school, in order to bring up the concept of holistic education.
• It works for classes 6 to 10.
• CCE has been introduced to lessen the pressure of board examinations. Not getting good marks in board examinations had started increasing suicide rates among students. To combat this, CCE was introduced.
• Also, the education system had become more marks centred. Students wanted to score more marks without getting any relevant knowledge. CCE helped in looking at every aspect of a child's education.
