a balloon gts inflated in hot water and gets defalted in cold water. why?

Balloon gets inflated in hot water because the boiling water gives the water vapour or you can say gas to inflate it. But when balloon in flask is put in cold water then it start to deflate into the flask because there is low pressure inside the flask and high outside the flask.
