here the ans is (b) so my question is does the current add up in

According to Faradays law,Induced Emf=-L∆I∆tnow, ∆I=Ifinal-Iinitial⇒-2-2=-4 A∆t=1 s and L=2 Hor, Induced Emf=-2×-41=8 VThe - sign in faradays law is called len's correction, which is an automaticresultant for consevration of energy
